Approach
Three principles shape every trip, from the first brief to the final files. They're the reason editors re-commission — and the reason the pictures still feel true long after the plane lands.
I work with whatever light a place gives — dawn over a pass, a lamp in a roadside kitchen, flat cloud on a coastline. No lighting truck follows me across a border. The result feels like the moment, not a set built on top of it.
I travel slowly and ask before I photograph. Time on the ground, a few words of the language, and a return visit matter more than any single frame. Pictures made with consent hold up — for the people in them and for the brands that run them.
Assignments arrive as a private edit within two weeks — high-resolution files, captions and a plain-language license. Collectors receive archival fine-art prints, hand-checked and shipped worldwide. One point of contact throughout, no hand-offs.
Process
Two ways to work with the studio — a bespoke assignment on location, or an existing image as a fine-art print. Here's exactly how each one runs.
Tell me about the assignment or the print you have in mind — the destination, the story, the intended use, and roughly when. I reply within two business days with availability, travel considerations and an honest, itemised quote. There's no obligation at this stage.
For a commission we settle logistics together: routing, permits and fixers, timing around the season and the light, and licensing scope. For prints I confirm the size, paper and edition. A deposit — or full print payment — holds the slot, and for editorial work I'll share a short reference edit first.
Assignments run from a single day to a multi-week expedition, worked at the pace the place demands. I'd rather earn a handful of true frames than tick off a shot list. You'll see selects from the field along the way, so nothing in the final edit is a surprise.
Editorial commissions arrive within two weeks as a private, captioned, high-resolution edit under a clear license. Print orders are produced on archival paper, hand-checked, and shipped worldwide with tracking. Extra sizes and retouching are available on request.

Kind words
We sent Longitude to Patagonia on a tight window and got a cover and a twelve-page spread out of it. The pictures carried the whole feature — weather, distance, exhaustion, all of it true.

Good to know
Every print is archival pigment on cotton-rag paper, signed and numbered as part of a limited edition. Orders are hand-checked, rolled or flat-packed depending on size, and shipped worldwide with tracking and a certificate of authenticity.
